Bathroom Bliss

So much for my plans to blog more... However I do have something positive to report. The bathroom has been refurbished and it's great.

I think the before and after pictures will say it all on this one - but basically, it's white and tasteful so it's a massive improvement in my opinion! I am quite pleased with the design if I do say so myself - we've managed to fit in a bath in a small space (6ft x6ft) and some storage without making it seem cramped.

We had the work done by Lee from Thameside Heating & Bathrooms who we found through Trust A Trader and would recommend to anyone.

Also all the staff at Eurotiles and Stone in Twickenham are fantastic, especially if you go there around eight times for various bits and pieces in various states of stress.

New Year's Resolution

This blog has not been updated as much as I would have liked. This is due to the house not being worked on as much as I would have liked! However, it's my New Year's Resolution to get on with things. So far, it's going reasonably OK. We have nearly got a second bedroom ready. We just have to rehang the door which the carpet fitters had to take off. Then we have a nice new room and a spare room. Woo hoo. We are also getting quotes for the bathroom, which needs to be ripped out and started again. It's exciting though. Hopefully at the end of 2010 I will be sitting here writing about my fabulous house that's completely refurbished...

P.S. The cloud door is history! Thank goodness.
